ALPHA PRESS COMPANY, A formal major global manufacturer of Alpha P/M compacting and sizing presses based in Philipsburg, NJ, USA, ceased upon the death of the founder and President, Audi Weiss. The facility sold, and engineering files, Alpha press product information and complete global customer files were in escrow pending estate liquidation which included these assets.
Mohr Corporation brought about and managed the sale for the family estate. The purchase of the press manufacturing engineering drawings and data, new service parts, and complete historical customer files provided during the operation of the Alpha organization has now taken place in March. The new owner of these Alpha press assets is UNIVERSAL MACHINE REBUILDERS LLC, located in Dagus Mines, Pennsylvania, USA.
